I've been thinking about how to start writing this blog post.
This wedding was everything but not the common one, so finding the right words has been a challenge.
It was something between a movie set with incredible aesthetic, documentary rawness, and unpredictable rush. I felt like I had a role on a movie set, running around taking shots, looking at the light, checking surroundings, and thinking omg how beautiful everything looks. Nina and Dusan are a couple to remember.
Incredibly charismatic two joyful faces who had the role of the most spontaneous couple I've ever seen. They gave us more freedom and trust than I could ever imagine.
And let me tell you….
That is something priceless. The more trust you get, the more freedom you experience. The more freedom you have the more creativity you gain.
This day started in a beautiful Hotel Indigo in the heart of Belgrade city. When we entered the room, we saw Nina and Dusan smiling and preparing for the big day. You could feel the emotions in the air. Giving us a glimpse of the aesthetics and vibe that we were about to witness. The sun was streaming through the room's window like in a movie, bathing it in a golden glowy bloom. The color palette of the room, the ambiance, and the light were inspiring. The couple seemed like actors placed in carefully designed scenes just to speak their story.
Hours later, our journey continues in Akacia. One of the 3 locations of "Vencanja Open Concept" on Avala mountain situated in the south-eastern corner of the city Belgrade....probably my favorite one. A beautiful glass house in the woods, surrounded by Black locust trees gives you a special touch of nature and embarks you on a journey that will stay in your hearts forever.
In this sacred space, the couple acknowledged the significance of their commitment not only to each other but also to the earth that cradled them.
In the heart of the woods, surrounded by the leaves and the gentle touch of nature, a love story unfolded beneath the open sky.
With the gentle wind on their skin, birds up in the air, and a beautiful smell of green trees, vows were exchanged. The woods became a silent witness to promises made, carrying the whispers of vows beyond the immediate circle of friends and family woven into the fabric of nature. The open-air setting symbolized more than just a picturesque backdrop; it embodied a profound connection with nature. The couple chose nature as their witness, grounding their commitment to the very essence of the earth.
The rustling leaves, the soft sunlight filtering through the branches, and the melody of birdsong created a harmonious symphony, echoing the resonance of love and life. The ceremony in the woods was a testament to the belief that, like the cycles of nature, love too has its seasons – blooming, evolving, and enduring.
It's been so nice sharing all the love and excitement with everyone there. Wrapping up this wedding blog feels like saying goodbye to a friend's happy celebration. I’ve loved hearing your stories, the promises you made, and seeing the couple kick off their journey together.
As we say our goodbyes, we're thankful for being part of this fun ride with you all.
